Etay Gafni was the founder of several startup companies (RIP…) and currently the owner of BrightAct LLC – a successful boutique-consulting firm, focusing on mobile, Ux and software products.
One of BrightAct’s services www.demoright.com – is a Web-based service that helps you to easily create, share, test and analyze mobile and web-based applications, prototypes, and demos.
The most recent venture, created with Etay’s 11 year old daughter, is an online and mobile service to educate kids about making smart finance decisions and manage their funds - www.bankaroo.com
Etay spent 20 years mastering multiple disciplines, including software development, user-experience design, multi-media and eLearning production, community development and management.
Prior to running BrightAct, Etay was the founder of moodspin, GenBond and olofus – all social media companies, enabling people to share their moods and content across generations.
Etay also acted as VP of Products for Veodia Inc. – Responsible for product strategy, product definition and user experience of Veodia’s products and services.
Etay spent 7 years at SAP and managed several global teams, including the SAP Developer Network as its first Managing editor (responsible for definition, content and operation). Other key roles included leading SAP UX technologies for the SAP Ux team and the office of the CTO. Building demos and prototypes for public events, such as SAPPHIRE and TechEd.
Etay also worked closely with SAP venture to identify and evaluate technologies, products, services and companies who can work with SAP to shape the future of the enterprise.
Prior to SAP, Etay led the training development for TopTier and was part of several other startup companies in Israel.
